2024 Convention Cycle

This cycle will center around the election of delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this July. The offices of GAGOP National Committeeman and Committeewoman (who represent the State Party at the RNC year-round) will also be up for election.

Information will be posted as it becomes available.

1.) Precinct Caucus

Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, 10 a.m., Charles C. Parker Center at Etowah Park (1325 Kingston Hwy., Rome, GA 30161)
At the Precinct Caucus, we will elect delegates to the County Convention. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the caucus commences promptly at 10 a.m.
All Floyd County registered voters who align with the principles of the local Republican Party are invited to attend.

2.) County Convention

Saturday, March 23, 2024, 10 a.m., Charles C. Parker Center at Etowah Park (1325 Kingston Hwy., Rome, GA 30161)
At the County Convention, we will elect delegates to the District and State Conventions.
You must have been elected as a delegate, or an alternate if necessary, to vote at the County Convention. Non-voting visitors are welcome.

3.) 14th Congressional District Convention

Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10 a.m., Location to be determined (TBD)
At the District Convention, we will elect members of the State Committee, elect officers of the 14th District Republican Party, and consider any necessary changes to the district party's official Rules.
You must have been elected as a delegate, or an alternate if necessary, to vote at the District Convention. Non-voting visitors are welcome.

4.) Georgia Republican Party State Convention

Friday-Saturday, May 17-18, 2024, Columbus, GA (Columbus Convention and Trade Center – 801 Front Ave., Columbus, GA 31901) (Schedule to be determined.)
At the State Convention, we will elect delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July, and the positions of GAGOP National Committeeman and Committeewoman are also up for election.
You must have been elected as a delegate, or an alternate if necessary, to vote at the State Convention. Non-voting visitors are welcome.

5.) Republican National Convention

Monday-Thursday, July 15-18, 2024, Milwaukee, WI (Fiserv Forum – 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53203) (Schedule to be determined.)
At the National Convention, we will select the Republican Party's nominee for President of the United States and handle other routine party business.
You must have been elected as a delegate, or an alternate if necessary, to vote at the National Convention.
